Hi everyone,
The weather here is nice today it is about 25 degrees. Their is a little bit of rain which is good as we have had a pretty dry summer, we need the rain.
One of our English teachers is very keen to blog with her class, so I may leave your questions to her and the students to answer.
If they take more than a few days I will get back on and answer them for you.
Glad we can all stay in touch. What has your weather been like?
Best wishes
Mr Currie

Hello from 3H Business Administration
G'Day Oz!
Our Business Administration pupils have a few questions for some of your pupils. The class is made up of 14 and 15 year olds.
1. Do you have a school uniform?
2. What is the weather like in Western Australia?
3. What are the school colours?
4. How many periods/classes do you have a day?
5. What subjects do you study?
6. Is the school big?
7. Where do the pupils go for lunch?
8. What is the canteen like?
9. What do pupils do in their spare time?
10. Do you all stay locally in Gosnells?
11. What jobs do your parents/guardians do?
12. Are you a healthy eating school?
13. Are you an Eco School?
14. Do you have a favourite Rich Task (that's from Mr McGowan)

My visit to Hamilton grammar
As an ex student of Hamilton Grammar I was most impressed on my recent visit. My family emigrated to Australia in 1980 so my memories of it are as a child.
I know work as a Deputy Headmaster in a school in Western Australia, it is called Southern River College. Mr Stewart kindly offered to show me around. I was most impressed by the manners and the attitude displayed by all the students I met. Holding open doors for us, using great manners and generally being neatly dressed and well presented. The teachers were all keen to see us and share their time. I would have loved to spend a couple of days at the school, (maybe next time).
The facilities that you have are marvelous, I really liked the canteen area.
I am hoping that we can setup a link between our schools, I hope you have some suggestions on what we could achieve. I am sure we have a lot of students here that would like to be involved. Although we all speak the same language their are some pretty big differences between Australia and Scotland. My son who is now 13 had very seen snow until we visited the UK, imagine that. Also I am new to blogging so I may need some help, feel free to assist in any way you can.
All the best hope to hear from you soon.
